Kelowna Yoga in the Park is back for the month of July! Purchase your classes today as there are a limited number of passes available:)

Join me at Kinsmen Park (the park on Abbott with the tennis courts) by the water for Vinyasa Flow, Yin, or Baby & Me classes all July.

  • Classes are 1 hour in length except for Baby & Me which is 45 minutes long.

  • There is public parking, a playground and a public washroom nearby.

  • Please bring your own yoga mat and any other props you require.

  • No need to pre-register, just show up!

  • Classes are weather dependent and will be canceled if there is pouring rain or heavy smoke. If you’re not sure, check your email inbox 30 minutes before class as everyone who has purchased a class online will be emailed a notification if class is canceled.

  • The 5 class pass may be shared amongst people, the Unlimited Pass is for one person only.

Classes begin on Canada Day! Celebrate with Vinyasa Flow at 9:30am or bring your little family for Baby & Me Yoga at 10:30am.

Monday:

  • 9:30-10:45am Slow Flow (a more accessible vinyasa practice with less Sun Salutations) begins Apr. 8 and ends May 13.

  • 11-11:45am Baby & Me (a yoga practice with songs, postures and guided movements to do with your baby) begins Apr. 8 and ends May 13.

  • 5:30-6:30pm Vinyasa Flow (a traditional yoga practice with Sun Salutations) begins Apr. 8 and ends May 13.

Tuesday:

  • 6:30-7:45pm Prenatal (a yoga practice and guided conversation for pregnant students) begins Apr. 2 and ends May 21.

  • 8-9:15pm Grounded (a gentle yin and restorative blend class with guided meditation to calm the nervous system) begins Apr. 2 and ends May 21.

Wednesday:

  • 9:30-10:45am Vinyasa Flow (a traditional yoga practice with Sun Salutations) begins Apr. 3 and ends May 22.

  • JUST ADDED 11-11:45am Baby & Me (a yoga practice with songs, postures and guided movements to do with your baby) begins Apr. 3 and ends May 22.

Thursday:

  • 8-9:15om Grounded (a gentle yin and restorative blend class with guided meditation to calm the nervous system) begins Apr. 4 and ends May 23.


  • All classes are held at my home studio, Mandala Studio, at 460 Birch Ave. in Kelowna, BC (near the hospital). Please park on the street and go around back to the separate basement entrance for the studio in behind the house.

  • The studio is equipped with a washroom including a shower and a space to leave your purse/bag and shoes. I used to run the classes with about 12 people comfortably in the studio however I’m now limiting class sizes to 9 people to ensure we are quite comfortable.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early for class so we can start on time. I will unlock the door to the studio 15 min. before class begins.

  • I have a dog, a toddler, a kid, and a reckless husband:) Please let me know if you have a fear or allergy (of husbands especially).

  • All classes are ALL LEVELS:) Wherever you are at, I will meet you there.

  • If you have to miss a class for whatever reason, just ask me how you can make it up! There is always a way to sneak into another class if it's not full!

Class Descriptions:

Vinyasa Flow: A 60 or 75 minute medium-intensity flow class that is wildly different each week but always includes Sun Salutations. Creative sequencing and fun!

Prenatal Yoga: A 75 minute class that includes a brief conversation followed by a pregnancy specific yoga practice. Postures are all safe to practice at every stage of pregnancy.

Baby & Me Yoga: A 45 minute class that includes a brief conversation followed by a Hatha yoga practice for the parent. A washroom and change table are available. Pre-crawling babes only. The workout version of this class is 45 minutes of exercise including yoga strength, body-weight exercise, and light weight work. The focus is on squeezing as much post-natal safe strengthening in while the babes explore/rest on the floor. A baby carrier is optional. The studio is available after both classes for parents/caregivers to chat.

Grounded: A 75 minute class that uses a plethora of props to come into deeply relaxing postures designed to revive and refresh the body/mind. Each posture is held for 4-12 minutes and additional tools like warm stones and essential oils are occasionally used to facilitate relaxation.

Slow Flow: A 75 minute accessible yoga class similar to Vinyasa Flow but slowed down and without the use of Sun Salutations.

Private Yoga Classes

For more information or to book a private class please fill out the provided form on the contact page and provide your preferred dates/times.  Private classes start at $175-$200/hr for 1-unlimited number of students.  Private classes help to ensure your alignment is top-notch, they are excellent ways for beginners to become introduced to yoga, they make a bachelorette party relaxing, and they make an anniversary extra special.  Mats are provided.

Corporate Yoga Classes

I'm available to teach corporate yoga classes in the Okanagan.  I can come to your workplace 1-3 times per week and lead a 30-60 min class of your preferred style (anything from Easy to Advanced).  Cost is $175-$200 per class regardless of the number of people attending. Be sure to check if your workplace has a health and wellness budget as well as it could mean free classes for you and your colleagues:)  

A space (board room, courtyard, lecture hall, gym) and mats are required.  I will bring a few extra mats just in case.
